Andamur: environmental traceability for its network of service stations
Andamur, specialized in fuel cards and fleet management services for professional transport, operates a network of more than 1,400 service stations in over 14 countries, including its own stations (9 currently, within national territory) and the network of suppliers associated with its cards, all coordinated from its head office.
Given the volume of sites and the geographic spread of its operation, Andamur implemented Manglai to move away from manual data collection and emissions calculation processes, and toward centralized, traceable environmental management.
The challenge: getting the data in time
Since 2018, Andamur has reported carbon footprint and environmental data, but the volume of sites and the geographic spread between its service stations and head office complicated every reporting cycle:
- There was no dashboard with clear, immediate consumption and emissions data: information had to be found by navigating through folders and Excel documents.
- Data traceability and availability were the main bottleneck, with teams searching for invoices and documents across different folders in order to report.
- The volume of sites and reported data, combined with the geographic spread between own stations and head office, multiplied the workload in every reporting cycle.
The solution: centralized, real-time data
Andamur migrated its environmental management to Manglai, looking for a platform that would adapt to its needs, with fast initial setup and constant support from the support team:
- End-to-end automation: emissions calculation, data upload, and results visualization stopped being manual tasks.
- A flexible platform, easy to navigate, with data always available, with no need for a specialized sustainability profile to interpret it.
- Close support from the very first moment, both during initial setup and for resolving later questions.
Results in numbers
- +1,400 stations in the Andamur network, across more than 14 countries.
- 9 own stations managed consistently and traceably from head office.
- Reporting carbon footprint since 2020, now with data available in real time.
- Emissions calculation, data upload, and results visualization, automated end-to-end.
- Greater robustness for internal and external audits of the integrated management system, including ISO 14001.
Manglai, key to decarbonizing transport
Implementing Manglai has allowed Andamur to turn a process scattered across folders and spreadsheets into a centralized, traceable operation across its own stations and head office. In an industry where pressure to demonstrate sustainability comes from both customers and regulators, having data ready and verifiable has become a competitive advantage.
